Very quiet out of the B45's area these days everyone must be happy with coaches that were chosen. Are word if releases will be given after you are cut or is the org going to make everyone wait?

Will Brampton ever be a competitive hockey town again?

Let's hear all the feedback for different age groups who is happy who is not, note you age group in comment.

For the record, the whole “home town hockey” is bs when more then half a team is from elsewhere. No such thing anymore.

AAA Hockey in Brampton DOES NOT exist. It is barely AA.
Just take one look at the 2003 Minor Midget team, with Daddy coach, and his buddies.
They are a sad excuse of a coaching staff, and their team would not be a .500 team in Double AA

The PW coach is a joke. He needs to go to anger management classes too. Brought my boy to the tryout. That's AAA

The bigger joke is the 03, Minor Midget AAA coach. Team is terrible, and will be again.
Its Daddy coach and his buddies, and they are not even a Double AA team.
In their draft year, why Brampton hockey would have this coaching staff BACK is the BIGGEST JOKE OF ALL.

Brampton tryouts are a Joke! Coaches have obviously been watching most of these players all season. Why 6-7 days of this waste of time.

Disagree, he might actually know something about hockey, and teach the kids.
The 03 coach is a Daddy coach that knows NOTHING about hockey, and can
teach the kids NOTHING.

The reality of the 03's is that any player who started in Brampton that had any chance of playing at the next levels (OHL / NCAA) is now playing in the G. Whatever the reasons, parents took there kids to the G beginning in MA and the exodus continued through PW. If Brampton had somehow managed to bring them all back (by being a closed center or bringing in a highly respect coaching staff) B45's would be competing for the SCTA's. Unfortunately, the organization and current coach did not even bother trying. The 03's are just another lost year in the long losing history of Brampton hockey. Its too bad, because i think we all want to see things improve.

This is all Bullshit! No hometown hockey here.
Looks like our team will be full of Outsiders and on top of that let go of decent players.
I don't get it!!

What is the ratio per team of Brampton players to outsiders? I am sure the city would be interested to know how they are subsidizing kids that don’t live in Brampton.

As well Brampton was one of the LOR centres that faught for the changes a few years ago to keep players in Brampton. Yet coaches are filling teams with outsiders. That is BS they want it both ways.

And they make everyone jump through hoops waiting for every other centre to pick their teams.

Whoever's idea of having 7 days of tryouts is ridiclous. Tryouts are already stressful for many and then if you get cut, You have another possible 7 days wait to make the AA. This is just absurd.
Next yr if I will attend tryout and not going ro watste my time, if Coach wants my kid next yr he can contact me.

Hearing a lot of changes on the 05, 06, 07 teams lots of outside players brought in so much for home town hockey. Brampton is in complete shambles coaches running the show big changes are needed.
