Pro Hockey Brick Series?

Okay so I have heard of the Brick but what is this series? My son got an invite to the series but it looks like just spring tournaments with lots of travel? Am I missing something? Any value?

Its about selling hype and playing on people who are long on money and short on brains. It is not related to the Brick tournament other then some of the teams that run the events attend the Brick.

Brick series tournaments are pretty average. Did it last year and never again.

My son played last year, complete waste of money. coaches disorganized, practices were run like drop-in skill sessions. complete waste.

Stings when you couldn't even get to the finals eh?

We get it, unless you won it all, the Brick sucks, its a waste, yadda, yadda, yadda. lmfao.

Anyone can come on here and slam it. My suggestion is dont post anonymously if you have a factual based opinion how much you wasted. Reading your negativity was the factual waste of time here to be honest. k thanks.

The Brick Series is just marketing hype. One of the teams actually goes to the Brick - I won't get into the pros and cons of that, you have already seen the contrasting opinions. But the remaining teams don't get anywhere near the Brick. Calling the remaining tournaments the Brick Series gives it more hype. That's simply it.

If he's going on the team headed for the Brick tourney in the mall in the middle of summer: If you can spend the money without thinking, and your kid wants to play, who am I to tell you if it's worth it. But if you're asking the question about if it's worth it, find people who went before and get their opinions. By the way, they usually say it was a great experience for the kids, the ice was crappy with puddles all over, the competition was decent, but if they had to do it again, they wouldn't.

if you're on another team doing the other tournaments, but not the Brick, then it's just like every other Spring tournament team, with the option of boasting about being on a Brick team to people who don't know that not all the Brick Series teams go to the Brick.
