Wasn't it an 'O' team that went to the finals and lost 5-4 to Atlanta. Where were the 'G' teams?

You always have an excuse, no team from the G made it to the finals, stop trying to make excuses.

If you want that to be your excuse that’s fine....what was the score? Whitby only lost by one goal and scored more goals against Atlanta than any other team....what other excuses can you come up with. Face the facts, surrounding areas are catching up to the kids in the G and you parents are scared of that fact. It’s ok that you’re kids were the best at 6 or 7 years old because little Johnny was on the ice 7 days a week. Now that other kids are getting more development you can’t face the fact the teams outside the G are starting to take over.

No no, respect and kudos to Whitby great tournament not putting anything they did down. But if whitby played atl in the quarters they would of been eliminated then thats all just like EY was. I think if a series was played between Halton whitby and niagara representing the O vs GP EY WDB representing the G It would be awesome and very close

Quick show of hands. How many of the Toronto parents complaining about Atlanta are the same ones who come on here and brag when teams from the G beat teams from the O?
Couldn’t have said it better myself.....all these G teams are complaining about Atlanta but at the end of the day all the G teams are doing the exact same thing.
Really? I think the complaint was against a verbally abudive coach. Shame you’re missing the point. Is that an “O” thing?
Scroll to the top of the thread, dummy. Shame on you for being stupid. Is that a "G" thing?
G teams can’t help kids from the O want to move over to play in the G.
Atlanta can't help it if kids from 15 other states want to move over to play for Atlanta.

See how this works?
That might be the most idiotic point ever made on this site. Kids from 15 other states didn’t want to play for Atlanta, it was the parents...anyways....I’m pretty sure 80 percent of those kids on Atlanta don’t live in the state. It’s bs that that team is allowed to be in a hockey Canada sanctioned tournament, we all know what happens to that team in the spring anyways. Kudos to Whitby, a closed Centre, who only has kids on their team from the proper boundaries for almost winning.
Are we not here to complain about an abusive coach?! Why has the “O” decided to make this out about the G against O players. For .... sakes people, can we not legit make this about the kids!? Can you ALL put ur ....... EGOS aside for one second!? NO one gives a shit if ur kid is PLAYING for the G or O. What we are concerned about is the way the Atlanta coach manhandled his players. And this is coming from a parent who saw him first-hand terify an 8 yr old player to tears.

YOU: You're all terrible people for not making a bigger deal about Atlanta's coach.

ALSO YOU: I was there when it happened and my wang and balls literally tucked up into a vagina.

Whitby, Halton and southern Tier, Niagara isnt even in this convo. But yes who cares. OMHA, GTHL, whatever. winners can come from anywhere. Shockingly enough, the USA.

In all fairness, I didn’t see it so I can’t comment on what actually happened but if you saw it, you should have called the police or speak to the tournament organizers. We can’t turn a blind eye.

The reality is, the top Whitby kids will have moved over to play in the G within 3-4 years. It is just the reality.
