Aren’t the aaa parents fed up with all the same crap year after year? Or are they just happy little Jonny is still playing aaa? Coach had chance to make this team over but did not want to upset parents.

One would think they'd be more upset if their child wasn't playing AAA.

Quit harping on a team not being good that was clearly one of the stronger teams in the league.

Doesn't stronger usually lead to actually winning or advancing at the end of the year?

No, stronger is a adjective used to compare things. You could be stronger than a 6 year old and not make the olympic weightlifting team. Playing in 1 game here or there doesn't matter. The top few teams in the league are roughly equal. They are all stronger than the teams below them.

This poor team has neve even made it to RR, i don’t care what analogy you use, either the right kids have never been chosen, or the kids they have just are not that good or coaching is the weakness? As proven, i think Coaching has been the issue as there are many talented 05 kids and if the coaches of past stopped focusing on their friends and own kids and if current coach as not such an office pleasure who just appeases the parents, this team could have advanced once to the omha’s let alone make it to the RR.

Current coach missed 2 obvious picks on AA gold and 1 on AA blue. That will haunt them this year.

When it mattered most the team has never advanced from the SCTA qualifiers. Ever. Nuff said. Winning is September doesn't matter.

BE AAA isn't a strong team they just have a few really strong players up front. Rest of the team is average at best and below average on D. Those strong forwards carry them to a top 3-4 team.

Who are these obvious picks? I agree that there should’ve been change but who are the obvious choices?

And just imagine if they picked up one or more 2 D and then the 2 obvious Forwards that should have been picked up. Not sure what coach is thinking other than just keeping parents happy.

This team needed an entire overhaul and coach did not do what he needed. There is always next year.

AAA team likely has some great golfers on it. Out early every year but yes they are one of the "stronger" teams that stops playing hockey before March 1st each year.

You would hope they would be considered one of the stronger teams if they played 6 year olds.
They might even win a game or 2.

Coaching has always been the biggest issue for this age group (aaa only).
Friend and political picks have killed this team along with coaches playing their own kids too much and in key situations. Nothing different this year. How could the coach miss 3 obvious picks especially with hitting.

3 obvious picks? That would just be on D alone and at least another two on forward.

This AAA team has a ton of potential but each year it fails to reach it due to questionable picks and decisions. The non parent coach might be as well be a parent coach, he has shown he cannot make the tough calls to improve the team. Such a waste of what could be a great team.

Minor Bantam and another year wasted despite the strength upfront with a few stars and really good players. Has to be disappointing for some of the parents and kids that truly want to win and ice the best team. For the parents that just want to say little Johnny plays AAA, they don't care about winning just saving face with their parent group. Astonishing how weak some of the long time AAA players are now with hitting and kids growing more mature.
