Ugg..every year it's the same thing if you don't play blah blah blah .... .05 percent of "elite" players get a sniff at the NHL and a 16th of them never play a single game. So in our 04 birth year here in Ottawa your looking at maybe 1.5 kids all totalled currently playing any level of hockey

All teams are wide open there are a few locks but kids hiding in associations will be weeded out when winning is more important than friendships

The only way that happens is the AA kids don't tryout.
Titans will have enough AA for S7 and Aces
Wild will enough players from EO, CG, SVR
Sens will have enough with KB & NR
67 will have issue given only few 5-6 GR & OS
Cyclones should not need imports

fyi there will be A players make some teams...heck there were even some B players make the jump straight to AAA this yr

How many AAA quality A players are there? Not sure if there is many at all. Maybe a few D and 1 goalie. Doesn't appear to be any top scorers in that league and it should be an easy league to score in if one has AAA skill.

Besides the top 10 AA leaders how many quality AAA players are there. You'd think if all these kids are so good on every team all kids would have at least 10 goals and a plethora of assists .

LMFAO-classic. There is inches and not feet between many players. Yes AAA is a better league then the lower tiers. It has many great players. That said if you think that all the players in AAA are AAA (lol $) and no AAA players are in A or B rep you are living in a dream world.

I've seen a few A games this year and the skill level is quite a drop from the the AA kids. There is no scoring at all in the A league and a real lack of skill. That being said, there will likely be an A kid make every AAA team as the 9th F on a AA team this year is equal to the top A kid for sure.

Is there no scoring because as you say the kids aren't that good or it because there is more parody and not just 1 or 2 individuals on a team scoring the goals. Looking ato the AA stats for this year 82.3 percent of goals averaged out are all scored by 10 kids over the league

if you guys don't think there won't be some A and B players out there that will crack some lineups you are delusional.

6 months from now is a long time. There will be some surprises. and heads up there will be many more changes come minor bantam...just because little Johnny made the Novice A team a few yrs ago doesn't mean he's playing tier 1 all the way through

I watch a lot of B-league in this age group, and some A and AA on occasion.

A teams are better than B-league teams, but not by a wide margin. Mostly it's because the A roster tends to include more 'big kids' and a bit more skill.

There's a huge jump to AA from both A and B. Kids who jump find this out pretty quickly. It can be done. I know kids who have gone from B > A and then A > AA the following season. Once in AA, they're clearly in the bottom of the roster....even if they're very good players in B and A.

But, that's 04's up until this point. It could easily change down the road as kids approach Bantam.

The big question around our B team is -- who is going to get knocked off the roster next year, as kids return from A or possibly even AA to play with the B team? Sadly, there will be kids who have played 3 years in the B-league who may be heading back to house-league next season. Good kids, good players, but not better than the kids coming back. I feel badly for them.

Right spot this time
Predictions for standings at the end of next year
I think it will sum up like this
1- Wild
2- Titans
3- 67s
4- Upper Canada
5- Sens

Cyclones and sens will be better than 67.
Why?
67 will be mostly Sting and development in sting has been done for only a few players. Those players are likely to leave the 67

I give Wild slight edge over Titans do to goalies. Titans forwards will be tops in the league but their D is average. Wild D should be strong.

1: Titans-high scoring team
2: Wild-strong d and goalies
3: Sens-solid all around
3: 67's-likely dysfunctional
3: Cyclones-not much offense

Sens won't be solid maybe 4 good f's maybe 3 good d and goaltending will be pretty weak.
