Mode dad wrote:You say team organizer should be ashamed? Why is that exactly? He put a good team together for a pre season tournament. Not one team there was an actual full team, they were all players from multiple teams. Sounds like an angry Headstart dad.... Speaking of Headstart, Did anybody catch the really WIDE coach from Headstart about to have a heart attack when we turned up the heat? Precious image that I will keep with me for a long time. Buddie. They are just kids. Relax.

Really? " Really wide coach" why you have to make fun of somebodies size. Bet you are a great role model for your kid. Exactly whats wrong with these forums. Most guys just chat. Others need to feel better about themselves

Hi there. I am new to this site. It seems pretty intense, I'm hoping someone can direct me in the right direction. My son plays for a md7 team in the omha however. We don't want to play there this year. We a retrying to play in the NYHL. Does anyone know the process? We have signed this year with our team "no name" But would like out. How do we do this? Will they release us? Is there a way to force a release? Please any advice will help. Thanks in advance.

You wouldn't need a release as you wouldn't be playing "rep" hockey. If you haven't registered then you just have to contact the registrar of the org you would be going to and they would transfer your hockey Canada id. If you have registered you would have to cancel with them I believe before transferring.

So i would ask for release.
Then join let's say "duffield" house league
And try out for the rep team And this is all allowed? Why does everybody say it's impossible to get releases then? We are new to this stuff but it is confusing. Thanks for the help and the fast reply.
