It's crazy that the S7, Rangers and Raiders are already skating. It may be unofficial but they are still in the ice. I will guarantee you that all those kids played spring as well. Looks like 22 months a year hockey is what these guys think is needed. The kids will hate it before long.

I think someone said it above, but Raiders are not skating as a group.

Call it what you want, but the coach is organizing ice times. I've seen it. Why is he doing this?

who cares!

participate if you are invited or don't if you feel you have something else better to do with your time.

oh wait, you might not be on the invite list.

does not bode well for your kid's tryout if the head coach is the one actually holding these off season drills.
if that is the case, save your money and don't register for the tryouts.

I call BS. Nobody on here has a clue what they are talking about - with the exception of me! (sarcasm intended)

In this case the AA coach is definitely not running sessions.

I couldn't give a crap, because I'm nowhere near Nepean there bud. You're little defensive aren't you. Looks like all the talk about Nepean is true.

And buddy calling BS, sorry, I have friend's who have been asked to attend, and they all laughed. Hey the Rangers are doing the same thing. Looks like the the GTHL practice of "birthday skates" is almost here. Great.

Poster must be talking about pre tryout ice that has been arranged. Not a big deal, lots of groups do it. Some spring hockey teams keep ice as well. What's the difference between this and a camp?

In other news, looks like some players have moved over the summer. Could make for some interesting decisions.

That would be one massive zone!! Practices from Rockland to Hawksbury, to Alexandria, to Cornwall and back to Orleans. Never happen. Why don't they just play A? I imagine they would do this as the players would have the right to go tryout for AA in other centers. They could lose a few willing to travel, to the Grads, and Seaway could lost players to Nepean.
