From the initial scores, the Ottawa teams look very good. YSE lost 4-1 to the Sting.

The Ottawa 06 tier 1 loop typically has close scores during regular season league games, very few blowouts. Any team can typically beat any other team. Except for SV Rapids, they are in the wrong level.

Unfortunately SV Rapids have no choice but to be in AA because of population. They should be just an A team.

That isn't correct, they can play A. Population base "may" be used as a guide, but they can change the level of the team. An example is the Cumberland Grads 05 age group. They wanted AA, A and B but couldn't ice a competitive A team. They went with a AA and two B teams.

Well if that's the case than someone should let them know they are in the wrong league. They won't be any better again this year.

Calling out a 10 year old kid by name is sad. You should be ashamed. Grow up.

With a few games over the weekend it looks like scoring won't be a problem this year!

Wow, I'd like to think that someone would step in right away and say this team is not in the right loop and for the kids sake drop them down to A.

Or even the B / tier 3 loop.....let them prove they belong higher, not the other way around. Their normal entry at Major Peewee tier 2 in our league is rarely very competitive either.

What is wrong with the Grads? Too much talent on this team to only have a single win vs the new Canton team.

Yes lots of talent, and tons of effort from all the boys. The season is still early, hopefully they can improve working together as a team, then maybe some more wins will come.

It's way too quiet on here for this group. Most teams have played 7 or 8 games now, any real surprises? Scoring looks to be up a lot over last year despite the longer games.

That depends on who you talk to and/or which team you play.
