Just like they had no chance last year and took you to 8 games? Typical MT parent.

Last I checked, MT are the reigning city champs. Guess coming close counts to you. That's what sore losers say.

I wish the GTHL would post the standings ordered by win% instead of pts.
Standings by win% would allow the not so bright parents to figure out what place their kid's team is really in.

A general comment on moving to AAA. Unless your kid is lights out in AA, he isn't going to have coaches coming to him.

Most AAA coaches are knuckleheads who would rather take a AAA cut from another team (who should possibly be playing AA), than to get off their asses and go watch a AA game or two.

It's unfortunate but a fact of life that the fastest way to get into AAA is to go to one of the bottom feeders and have a terrible year getting used as a punching bag for the top 4-6 teams. If your kid performs in that, at least he'll be on the radar for the year after for a decent AAA team

It isn't right, but that's the way it is. The only other possible is to go to as many skates as you can, and maybe your kid will catch the eye of a coach who sees him as just what he's after to fill a certain spot. But don't expect phone calls and don't believe the teams are all set in January. They aren't.

How come there are no West teams in the Silver Stick this weekend? MT didn't they qualify? I thought they were automatic entries.

Hearing big issues in TW land. Coach and manager working the A beat for players. Selling a big team re-boot idea. They should worry about keeping existing players, calls being made all around the east/west loop by existing players looking for new home. Can you say KABOOM!

VR A moved up to VR AA once and nothing really came of it
what makes this organization think it'll work this time?
why not keep them in A and go for an OHF next season?
