IW improved but still a surprising result. MNS in a funk, outside of the HV game, team is not playing to its potential.

MIW for real and MNS is not. Outside of the game against HV they have been on a slide for a few weeks now. I hear trouble in MNS land.

Guest wrote:GDM a much better coach than DD. That will be the difference. MIW area very well coached team where the MNS rely on new kids coming in each year based on their status as a team. They rely on solo play and don't have a system at all. GDM can beat that or at least make it a lot closer than it should be.

MNS 3 MIW 2

Battle to the end.

Was MNS outcoached or did MNS just have an off night?

Fast back and forth game, could have gone either way.

Also depends on which goalie played for MNS.

We played mns in a tourney not a terrible team just looks like they need to tighten up on coaching and strategy. I dont see them often but that was my take

All this talk about MNS not playing well. I think MIW deserve a little cred on winning this game, don't think many of us would have predicted it.

It's a Cinderella story; to others a bad dream. Nevertheless a fairy tale that won't last.

i tend to think it will. Teams that have pulled together this kind of record without superstars just tend to get better as seasons go on.

Reminds me of VP last year. All year people said they had no stars, won't maintain it and get knocked out in the second round. They made it to the city finals. Previous poster was right, given me effort and team play over solo stars any day of the week.

HVS could still be in first place, they are short 4 games on MIW and 7 pts.
Unfortunately MNS is one of the teams they have to play in those 4 games.
