NN is a joke. They couldn't even get out of a AA league. They should never get a wildcard

CH is in as the third Alliance team if they win or as a wildcard if they lose to SC. At large will go to LC and DM based on OHL rankings. Not sure about the third

PP lost to Quinte so PP will get at large bid.

5 of the play-in invites go to the following:

1. Fifth-place team at the OMHA Championship
2. Loser of the ALLIANCE Wild Card series
3. Winner in GTHL Wild Card Play In Series A
4. Winner in GTHL Wild Card Play In Series B
5. Winner of OMHA-SCTA consolation game

The final 3 have typically been the following teams:
6. GTHL Wild Card Series A Loser
7. GTHL Wild Card Series B Loser
8. OMHA SCTA or ETA team.

The OMHA spot will come down to whether a team got upset and what the selection committee wants. If one of those teams has a player or a few who are highly ranked, they will get the invite. Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs didn't get an invite last year while while YSE got it due to having a better team and had the strength of schedule as they won a tournament that year.

This is based on what has happened the past 2 years and now that there are fewer play-in games because HEO gets an automatic entry.

If it really is based on the yearly results then NN has to get in. They had a very strong year and a hiccup in the SCTA weekend. Top 10 all year in MHR. They are not a threat to win but are better than teams from Alliance and the extra bids from ETA.. Nobody has to agree but the whole season has to count for something.

I agree with that. NN should be there.

Wild card is only a 1 game chance to get in for NN regardless. If they play that game like they finished the regular season and SCTA's they won't get in. Even if they play well it is far from a foregone conclusion as they'll be playing a strong team.

Don’t think HEO will send a team this year.

I've heard that HEO is sending the bantam 67s.

From who?
The ohl cup web site?
Last year bantam Jr67 players play on different u18 teams. They need permission of the u18 league to play in this tournament. The u18 wants to send an all-star team.
The last I heard both sides ohl cup and heo u18 are unwilling to compromise.

Sad state for heo hockey

HEO is only hurting the kids in this instance by not letting them play. Very short sighted if true.

NN and PP both got calls for 2/3 wildcard spots. I assume 3rd is from the mighty "G"
