Love how the Windsor guy is posting at 2:37 in the morning, probably sat at the computer all night after the parents meeting waiting for the zone updates. Woohoo you are a hero, congrats! Another Windsor coach bites the dust, it wont be thel last i bet.

Another example of how the Alliance is the weakest AAA league in the province.

Because a coach (with 2 wins so far this season) got fired? Ya, that makes sense!

Because a mediocre parent group ran a volunteer out of town. Alliance is easily the worst AAA league in the province. So many bad teams. AA at best.

Bad teams? You should mention that to SC, Ranked 10th in the province

SC plays the other sad sack teams in the Alliance. Therefore their record is greatly inflated. Look at strength of schedule factor, it is lowest of any team in top ten. Smoke and mirrors. Alliance is terrible.

comparing top teams from west vs east

london vs waterloo split the season series1 win 1 loss
london vs hamilton hamilton 1 win

sun county vs waterloo 1 tie waterloo 1 wn
sun county vs hamilton split the season 1 win 1 loss

emc vs waterloo emc 1 win
emc vs hamilton hamilton 1 win

to this point in the season, top 5 teams are remarkably well matched. the rest of the season should be lots of fun

yes the mighty upper canada cyclones tied huron perth lakers 1-1. HPL are last in Alliance. So what does that say about upper canada cyclones ranking

ottawa 67 tied waterloo 1-1

perhaps you should check your facts before spouting off.....do not let the facts confuse your alliance insults.

Fact is the Alliance has the worst reputation in minor hockey. Looking at the teams in the 2002 age group verifies the FACT that it is easily the worst league in the province.

You do not know your facts.

Alliance has more NHL alumni (per capita) than any other league in Ontario

Ever heard of Aaron Ekblad??? Alliance produces top players. Maybe not every year but most. The 02 age group will have a few top draft picks in the OHL

There is not one player in 02 Alliance that has a legit shot to make it right now. Sorry guys, truth hurts. Very weak league.

And what league is there that an 02 player has a legit shot to make it right now ??? It is obvious that your 02 player is your oldest and you have no idea what is coming in the next two years. 02 kids from all over Ontario will be drafted from all AAA leagues plus a few kids that haven't ever played AAA up til Bantham. This person is easy to ignore folks knows absolutely nothing with that idiotic comment !!!

I believe the poster was referring to the NHL. If that is correct they are right. From a statistical perspective it is extremely unlikely that anyone from the 2002 AAA Alliance will make the NHL. All things being equal that is.
