Bad for the kids who play at a higher level and want more. Also good for their kids who usually aren't very good or very into hockey. The organization is more committed to the players making friends for life than making the players better. Which is fine for some but not for all. Having said that the Coaches for the most part are nice people.

Why even bother fielding a select team then? That sounds more like HL to me

So what the .... is HVS doing with their team practices?the kids at that organization just practice doing bro hugs, high fives, and just enjoying each others company?
How can kids playing tier 1 not be into hockey? If you're playing in the nyhl's top level, you should care about hockey

Not being able to compete in tier 1 is tough, but great for the teir 2 loop. By adding teams from above, we don't have to worry about having multiple 2010 teams to play against

Welcome to tier 2 HVS, can't wait to see how well you bro hug, and high five each other.

My kids have friends at school and around our neighbourhood. If they make friends on their hockey teams, then bonus. But I choose their sports teams based on development and quality of program.

Which teams changed their coaches?

So some teams have changed coach's. Does that mean others are to follow? It is a year and a half away after all.

There is no way DH gets the Rebels.....I have heard he doesn't even have a team next year..that is a team going kaboom

----------------------------KABOOM--------------------------------

Where did DH coach this year?

He stood behind a bench at LPC...I wouldn't say coached...team has completely blown up....not even sure he coaches next year.

Rebels are long gone from this guys

Rebels having problems in most age groups but especially younger ones. I for instance am a Rebs parent who can't sleep!

Doesn't affect them next year, kids can play because it's select hockey. MA year is a different story, so maybe they don't want to keep imports next year for the fear of losing them the year after, who knows.

MR is the one that needs to keep his pipe down.

Of course he doesn't have any examples. Haters are going to hate. He's just a ignorant dad looking to crap. Probably one of the parents who got busted at the bday skate.

Free rides go along way in the 2009 age group

If you are out looking for free rides and that makes the decision foryou on where your kid plays. You will be out of aaa by minor peewee. Kids need to be in good programs with development

Guest wrote:Hahahahaha. This is the wackiest mom post ever. DDR is a bunch of tier 3 kids and HV would be a top T2 team at best. Everyone should beat PC (except DDR because lets face is tttttiiiieeerrr 3 kids). Why are you bragging on losing to a T3 and T2 team??? Yes they're in T1 but should play in T2. Yes you beat a T2 team but you're in T2. There's nothing arrogant except for you. Typical Acseborough mom. Cracked out of her mind. Quick do another hit and makes us all laugh with your come back.

Considering everyone should beat PC, our kids have a pretty good record against NYHL teams this year.
Its comes down to coaching, not the league. PC has a good coach that is getting our kids ready to make the jump to AAA for minor atom.

2-1 vs DDB
1-0 vs DDR
1-1-2 vs DDS
0 -1 vs GP
1-1 vs Weston
3-1 vs Humber Valley
0-0-1 vs EY

oddly enough that puts them at 8-5-3 against the NYHL this year... but you're right, the MHL and PC are a tier 2 league/team.

Agree PC a good solid team

But take away HV a team who has 1 win right now and you are .500. Not that impressive[/quote]

Agreed. Posting your 8-5-3 when you played HV 4 times. Not making your point. But you're right the MHL and PC are just a tier 2 league. What was the score of the mid pack tier 2 team SIR you lost to? You've seem to have forgotten to add them to your stats. But I guess that would have going against your point. Keep trolling dad
