HV and GB are community teams and have developed well this past year. Trolls are just stirring the pot. Top kids from what we have heard are returning to both teams and have been advised to do so by AAA coaches who understand kids have friendships and the rest of their lives to live their parents dreams of going to the NHL. All of these kids have spent the past 3+ years together, and not like many of the kids who have had to change teams every year to fulfill their parents aspirations. Real life means creating friendships through hockey while kids are so young.

They should start by taking their own advice. Not lending us a helmet when there was one sitting on the bench , not nice

Nobody is hating! Where did anyone say hate? People are stating the facts about teams and player movement
This site is about hockey, people need to stop making it a popularity contest

Calling them nice people is being nice you dumbass. Haters? Your probably the biggest one. Sour because your kid has limited abilities but is great at play dates. Lol....loser

Our coach(DDS) says he thinks he will get it but I've also heard GB & HV linked to the team through various people.

True! No guarantees!
But odds are still better than with a coach that has NO MA team. Not to mention that a team which has recruiting options for MA will train and prepare differently during novice year, they're motivated differently and compete stronger.

Everyone knows that a required recruiting tool for novice is having a team for MA, which they have none. At best a team who hasnt been assigned a MA team will end up with remaining players who didn't get spots on top teams

Guest wrote:HVS nice people. Shitty Organization. They breed mediocrity and mask it with "we are not interested in AAA hockey we think AA is way better." Good for them. Bad for the kids who play at a higher level and want more. Also good for their kids who usually aren't very good or very into hockey. The organization is more committed to the players making friends for life than making the players better. Which is fine for some but not for all. Having said that the Coaches for the most part are nice people.

Why even bother fielding a select team then? That sounds more like HL to me

So what the .... is HVS doing with their team practices?the kids at that organization just practice doing bro hugs, high fives, and just enjoying each others company?
How can kids playing tier 1 not be into hockey? If you're playing in the nyhl's top level, you should care about hockey

Not being able to compete in tier 1 is tough, but great for the teir 2 loop. By adding teams from above, we don't have to worry about having multiple 2010 teams to play against

Welcome to tier 2 HVS, can't wait to see how well you bro hug, and high five each other.
