So who is the coach of GP next year?

PM is a class act. Kids love playing for him because he knows how to talk to his players. PM does not yell during games or practice. He is always in control. He is always coaching his players quietly and professionally. Kids love playing for him and it shows.

Exactly! But they CANT step up and Coach because 99.9% of posters on here have NEVER PLAYED HOCKEY!!! Instead they judge and insult people who play/coach/instruct for A LIVING!!! Stick to your day job and let others do theirs!! Just be grateful that someone, even luckier if that someone played pro hockey, is willing to volunteer his time to coach and train YOUR kid while you sip coffee on the sidelines!! And when you have doubts about their credentials.... check their websites that are filled with testimonials from NHL coaches and players... then go back to your day job.. that most likely has NOTHING to do with hockey... because you know NOTHING ABOUT HOCKEY!!!
Just curious - what is PM credentials? And he has a website?
The reference to credentials and website was directed to coaches who actually have those... Not necessarily PM
So wait PM doesn't have credentials and a website? Can someone clarify what PMs credentials are and what makes him such a good coach? Did some research and I just don't get it? Would love some clairification of why people are in love with him.

How about all you nerds who sit in the stands and yell SKATE and SHOOOOT. Step up and coach or shut up and stop ragging on the coaches in this bracket that just happen to be some of the strongest for one age group in a long time. Why do you think the aaa teams have been awarded so quickly
So if the majority of GP players are going with PM to VK for MA, and he is being asked to leave, where are the current GP going?

No comprende. With GP at the top of Tier 1, why would PM not be staying there? If he truly is leaving and doesn't find a team, maybe NTR can hire him as a scout ;)

Yes comprende. Why don't you ask him yourself? PM is not the coach of GP next year because is not associated with VK. Ask him yourself. He may find another team but the coach of GP next year he is not!

Seriously though...I am not discrediting the previous poster, but I don't understand why PM would want to leave GP. I understand he has 09 VK, but why leave one of the top teams in NYHL?
hes not leaving.GP is replacing him.GP wants the NYR MA coach to have the novice GP team. Its always done that way for as long as I can remember. PM took the VK so he's not leaving he's getting turfed on his a$$.
PM best coach in 2009. He gets the most out of the kids. Developed a strong team at GP. VK is so lucky to get this guy with the Marlies and JRC both offering him teams. Will be coaching in the OHL in 5 years mark my word.

great coach - yes
OHL in 5 yrs - not likely unless as a 3rd assistant or something
